During the Effective ‘Mini Masters’ the goal is to discover how to maximise our impact. A select group of pioneering major philanthropists and impact investors go on an intensive journey, learning together how we can leverage our unique resources to give and impact invest as effectively as possible.
Effective Giving first piloted the Mini Masters programme in 2017. With 12 major philanthropists and impact investors, we explored giving effectively at scale. This pilot laid the foundation for developing the Effective Approach.
During this 2-day intensive retreat you will join a small group (max. 12) of major philanthropists and impact investors to learn how maximise your impact.
Our approach is very practical: we use case studies to explore the fundamental principles and tools of the Effective Approach. The curriculum is flexible and will follow the needs of the group. We will also make sure that there is sufficient time to digest and apply the new content to your own situation: what do the new insights mean for your impact strategy?
In preparation for this program, you will read some case studies and complete several small assignments, some of which you might do together with your stakeholders (such as family members or board members).

Effective Giving also provides the Mini Masters at no cost. Participants only contribute €250 (+btw) to cover the cost of catering (breakfast, lunches, coffee-breaks and dinner) and materials.
The next Mini Masters will take place on 17-18 May 2018. Participation is by invitation only. To indicate your interest in participating, please contact our community manager Eva van der Meer (email@example.com).
